Assignment Sheet for Emerging Technology Report In this Emerging Technology Report, the student has gotten a job in their major. After orientation, the student realizes that the company, their new employer, is not prepared for the future technological changes in its industry. They decide to take the initiative to prepare a short report identifying three emerging technologies that will shape your industry, explaining how they would be used in your industry, and how you might prepare for this technological future. The student can use a real life company or make one up. The emerging technology would include changes that affect all industries, organizations and companies, such as cybersecurity. The technology also could be something that would be specific to the company, such as 3-D printing for a manufacturing entity. The technology could include advances in logistics, communication, packaging, etc. I will be posting examples from last semester to give more guidance.
